Hello
Welcome to my cozy little online shop! This is the beginning of a life long dream which I hope to manifest into an actual mortar and stone dwelling some day. Take your time and browse through my apothecary shelves and drawers where you will find various mystical (some even considered eerie) bottles and jars filled with various items such as crystals & gems, incense, candles, and many different items for smudging. Look for available items coming soon such as dried herbs, soaps & skin scrubs, simple concoctions of medicinal salves & balms, tinctures, poultices and other oddities. For the more adventurous, check back for decorative items which will include bone inlay and moss art designs. Mojo bags and intention bottles are available upon request but are made specific to each individual depending on intent.
My Story
I am the offspring of ancestors that descended from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Norway with a smidge of Cherokee thrown into the batter that makes up my DNA. My ancestors settled into the Appalachian Mountain region and found a place of tranquility in Kentucky to put down roots.
I spent my childhood roaming the woods and hollers of Kentucky, splashing through creeks, and climbing trees all while conversing with the wildlife.
Most of the females in our family have the gift of the "sixth sense". When my grandmother passed, I was gifted her writings which included stories about my great, great grandmother, Sabra. She was known as "Aunt Sab" and loved by everyone that knew her. The locals would come to her for assistance with their "problems". She was known to travel to homes abroad the country side to assist families as needed with various ailments.
My desire is to continue this tradition of helping people until I grow to be a really old lady with long silver hair, cool tattoos and hopefully even considered strange by the locals. Some day the time will come for me to pass down the torch to my daughters. Then if my services are still needed, you will find me in my small cottage by the forest where I will be tending to my garden and conversing with the forest animals. Stop in and we'll share stories about things that go bump in the night over a good hot cup of tea while I rustle you up a remedy.
